Meet Your Counselors

Keumele Keown is the 5th grade and Team 8-2 counselor. Mrs. Keown received her Bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Education from Valdosta State University in 2003, her Masters in Counseling from Valdosta State in 2008 and her Education Specialist in Leadership from Valdosta State in 2013. Mrs. Keown has 8 years of experience in education, working as a teacher, counselor and administrator. Mrs. Keown has a love for all children, and desires to help each student find a pathway to success. 

Mrs. Keown has been married to Michael Keown for nearly 20 years and they have 3 children--Carrie, a junior at SCHS, Andrew, an 8th grader at SCMS, and Jacob a 4 year old.  Mrs. Keown loves spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Keown is excited about this new school year and looks forward to making a difference in the lives of the students at SCFGA and SCMS!

Emily Sprowls is the 6th grade and Team 8-1 counselor. Emily received her M.Ed. in School Counseling from Liberty University, and her B.S. in Family and Children’s Ministry from Toccoa Falls College. Before coming to SCMS, Emily worked at Toccoa Falls College for 7 years, overseeing aspects of the college admissions process, student housing, and student discipline. Emily desires to support students when it comes to their academics, behavior, social and emotional health, as well as any other needs that may arise throughout their middle school years.

Emily and her husband have been married for 12 years and have two boys. She enjoys the beach, hiking, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Tiffany Oldham is the 7th grade and Team 8-3 counselor. Tiffany received her M.Ed. in School Counseling from Troy State University and her B.A. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Huntingdon College. Mrs. Oldham has 15 years of experience as a School Counselor in Thomasville, Georgia. She also taught for 7 years in grades K-5 in Thomasville, GA and Montgomery, AL. Tiffany's top priority each day is to make a positive difference in the lives of the students she is blessed to serve. 

Tiffany and her husband Daniel have been married for 21 years and have two daughters, Layne and Kate. She enjoys running, hiking, shopping, traveling and spending time with her family.
